The housing organization must secure that the housing departments and the individual residences are being soundly maintained. Therefore the departments charge money through the rent for maintenance and reneval of, among others, fixtures like windows, taps, gas taps, refrigerators and washbasins. 

There are three maintenance arrangements:

  • An A-arrangement with NI-amounts, where the tenant tends to the maintenance
  • A B-arrangement, where the landlord tends to the maintenance

Who should tend to the internal maintenance, and how the residence should be handed over when the tenant moves out, depends on the chosen arrangement.
