If you would like to keep a dog in your rental property
It is not allowed to keep dogs in all properties. In some properties, only small dogs are allowed.
You can check your lease agreement or the property's house rules to see if it is allowed to keep a dog in the property you live in and if there are any restrictions, such as size limitations.
If permission is granted, it is usually for only one pet per unit.
Permission is not granted to keep dogs of prohibited breeds. The prohibited dog breeds in Denmark are listed in the dog law.
I agree that if permission is granted, I will comply with the following conditions:
The dog must not cause any disturbance to the property's other tenants.
The dog must be on a leash when inside the property and on the property's premises.
The dog must not be left with individuals who do not have full control over it while on the property's premises.
The dog must not be walked on the property's premises.
I must clean up after the dog if it tracks dirt into the property's common areas.
I am responsible for restoring any damage to the apartment and property caused by the dog's behavior.
The dog must not bark, howl, or whine frequently or excessively.
The dog must not display aggressive behavior.
The dog must wear a name tag with the owner's name, address, and phone number.
The dog must be registered in the Danish Dog Register.
This permission applies only to the dog described below.
