Is it time?
When you have found a buyer for your cooperative housing unit, you or your real estate agent must fill out the form below and then we will prepare the transfer agreement for you.
The transfer agreement must be signed by the seller, the buyer, and the board of the cooperative housing association.
Usually, the buyer pays a fee to DEAS for the preparation of the transfer agreement. The transfer agreement will specify if anything else is applicable in the specific transaction.
Transfer Date
You agree on the transfer date with the buyer. Remember to set the date at least four weeks before the 1st or 15th of the month to allow for processing time and the association's deadlines
Contact the association's administrator to receive a copy of the sales procedure for the individual co-operative housing association.
