Relinquishment
When leased premises are relinquished, the new tenant will take over your lease with all rights and obligations.
Your current lease agreement will specify whether you have the right to relinquish the lease. This is also where you will find any special terms and conditions that may need to be clarified beforehand with the landlord.
Prior to relinquishment, the landlord must always approve any new tenant, so that you must attach*:
- A copy of the signed purchase agreement
- The latest annual accounts of the new tenant
- Information on the new tenant's professional qualifications
- Concept description for the new tenant
*) Please note that the landlord is entitled to request further information concerning the new tenant.
