Assignment of commercial lease

When transferring the lease, the incoming tenant takes over your lease with all rights and obligations.

Whether you have the right to transfer the lease will be specified in the lease agreement, along with any special terms that need to be clarified with the landlord.

The landlord must always approve a new tenant before the transfer, and therefore, you should include the following documents:

• A copy of the signed purchase agreement.
• The latest annual financial statement from the incoming tenant.
• Information about the new tenant’s professional qualifications.
• A concept description for the new tenant.
