Professional project management throughout the entire renovation project

In renovation projects, it is essential that the scope of work is clearly defined and that both the process and the budget are closely monitored throughout the entire project.

We help with:

  • clarifying the project’s objectives and key challenges
  • putting the project out to bid
  • ensuring quality, progress, and financial management from start to finish
  • coordinating between contractors, operations, and other stakeholders

From proposal to implementation

Renovation projects are put out to bid to ensure the best possible conditions, both in terms of price and quality. A thorough description of the project reduces the risk of additional work along the way and creates a more predictable process.

Project management takes into account the property’s operation and daily use. Knowledge of the property and its ongoing challenges makes it possible to incorporate improvements where it makes sense and ensure a smoother implementation.

Value in practice

Project management of renovation projects contributes to:

  • better financial management of the project
  • lower energy consumption and improved energy rating
  • maintaining and enhancing the property’s value
  • improved indoor climate and functionality
  • reduced risk of consequential damage and insurance claims

CASE

Window replacement in a historic building

Together with a client in Aarhus, Denmark, we assisted with a complete window replacement in an older, historic building.

The building originally had single-pane windows with storm windows and was upgraded to new double-pane windows.

The replacement was carried out while the ground-floor shops remained open on the pedestrian street, which placed significant demands on coordination and planning. The property’s architectural character has been preserved, while functionality has been significantly improved.

Documented effects

  • Energy rating improved from B to A
  • Annual energy consumption reduced by approximately 4,000 DKK
  • Significantly reduced noise from city life and the pedestrian street
  • Improved ventilation and indoor climate thanks to better window performance
