About DEAS
In DEAS, we have a holistic approach to sustainability aimed at creating value for you as a tenant, the surrounding environment, and our investors.
The properties we manage should be energy-efficient, healthy, and safe. They should provide the framework for you as a tenant to thrive and have the best conditions for self-fulfillment.
We promise to enhance the way we live, and our efforts are based on three focus areas.
Read them to gain insight into what they mean for you and your daily life.
We focus on creating a safe and healthy environment around all the properties we manage.
We guide you as a tenant towards a more resource-conscious, environmentally friendly, and climate-conscious behavior. This could include waste sorting and recycling solutions. We will set requirements for our suppliers, partners, and employees to increase environmentally friendly solutions and reduce resource consumption and waste volumes.
We aim to support the good life and contribute to a safe, secure, and healthy environment in the homes, businesses, and workplaces we are responsible for.
We do this by focusing on a safe and healthy environment in and around the properties we manage.
We aim to inspire you as a tenant to create homes and workplaces with good lighting, sound, and air quality because it matters for your health.
We also place great emphasis on guiding tenants in the design of outdoor spaces that promote physical and mental health and well-being.
We aim to contribute to a sustainable transformation of society and actively engage with local communities.
We will share our insights, knowledge, and experiences through research and partnerships that promote sustainable property management.
Moreover, we will collaborate with our customers to stimulate local businesses and community activities, thus contributing to local unity and cohesion.
In 2022, we achieved several highlights in our work with the environment, social initiatives, and good governance. Here are some of them:
12.4% certified square meters: Our goal was to have 10 percent of the square meters we manage for our investors certified under an internationally recognized scheme by 2025. However, this year we exceeded that target, jumping from 7.3% to 12.4%.
Average energy label C: We strategically use energy labels as benchmarks for investments in energy optimization. This year, we achieved our goal of having a weighted average of at least C for the managed portfolio.
Satisfied employees: Our company’s success is determined by our ability to attract, retain, and develop our talented employees. We are proud that our employees across the Nordics have given us an overall Employee Net Promoter Score (E-NPS) of 14, which is four points higher than our goal of 10.
Good governance metrics: It is crucial for DEAS’ stakeholders that we have control over our policies, procedures, and workflows. Our 2022 key figures tell us that we are good at ensuring this. We had no reported violations regarding corruption and money laundering, no reports from our whistleblower scheme, and only one GDPR breach reported to the Data Protection Authority.
